Context

World of Wonder is the production business which sits behind the global TV show sensation, Ru Paul's Drag Race. It's subscription service, called WOW Present Plus, is the global home of all things drag and it now houses the shows exclusively across multiple territories. So the only place to watch Drag Race UK in the USA is by subscribing to WOW Presents Plus.


Services and Solutions

We worked alongside the WOW Presents Plus team to plan, launch and manage the large-scale launch of the Drag Race UK series in the US market. The objective is to drive subscription signs ups via the WOW Presents Plus website and via a wide range of App Stores available on both web and TV interfaces. The campaign has a number of features:

  • Ad and creative design - a suite of ads which adapt as the show develops

  • Performance tracking using Branch.io - a tech solution which identifies the environment the ad viewer views the ad and then delivers the user to the most relevant landing page (ie app store, web page or app)

  • TV-led campaigns on interfaces like Amazon Fire TV and Roku

  • Web and App sign up campaigns on Meta, TikTok, DV360 and YouTube

  • Search based campaigns across Google, Meta and Apple Ads
